League Meeting Notes
Minutes from the meeting held on 2/21/08
- Bethany Blue is in for the 2008 season, so we will have 10 teams in the
league this year. A new team Holy Angels might join the league if they do
we will go to 11 teams. I will know by the next meeting.
- Alan Friday and Larry Shields from the Carnegie Pres. roster were GIF in
for the 2008 season if anyone wants their contact information let me know.
- We will use the drop in bases again for the 2008 season. The double base
will be used at first base and Tim will enforce the rule that goes with
it, Tom will have the wording of the rule at the next meeting.
- The 2008 schedule will be handed out at the next meeting.
- Courtesy runner : the last out will be the runner, if you use a runner
you have to get one for every at bat, and can only hit a single, the
exception will be a ground rule double and homerun.
- Second foul is an out.
- Rosters and fees are due at the next meeting. Rosters must be signed by
a church official, and the status of each player on the roster must be
marked. If not the roster will not be accepted.
- Next meeting : 3/20/08, 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Church.
